The Rivals for Catan Released
« on: January 23, 2010, 12:37:22 PM »
It was already announced earlier but this morning I was happy to discover an official press release from Klaus Teuber himself announcing the 14th anniversary remake of Catan Card Game planned for September 2010.

Check out the details at:
Press Release
Blog Post 1

I'll keep the blog post links updated as more come out. Teuber is doing them personally which is nice.

Also, if people are up for it, I'd love a discussion about the old game and peoples' experiences with it. I personally have loved it since I purchased it in 2003 and have played it over three dozen times (that's a lot for me). In many cases, I've enjoyed it more than the regular Catan series since it is designed for 2 players in mind.

Huzzah to a new year of Catan!

Third blog up. Apparently there will be a Theme Expansion coming out in 2011 and the Princes of Catan in English will also be available this year. The new art for the Road and Settlement cards are previewed in this blog, as well.
